Thanks for this story about the man and the python. This recently happened to me here in central Florida only the python was huge and had me almost in the lake had my three golfing friends not beat it with their golf clubs. I wrote a brief piece on it being an ex-sports editor and emailed it to 100’s of my friends. There is no question as to the power of these animals and they are to be avoided at ALL costs. We, here in Florida, are now facing an enourmous population growth of these creatures due to a negligent past of no regulation and permiting them as pets.
