Michael Jackson Autopsy Results – The Truth Behind the Lies

Michael_Jackson_ill

- The Emaciated Eight Stone Body of Michael Jackson -

With the Jackson family having requested a second, private autopsy to be conducted into the death of Michael Jackson, the findings of the first have been leaked to the press, and very shocking they are too.

Michael Jackson’s father Joe, suspects foul play at work here and he vows to get to the bottom of the truth behind the lies.

- THE FINDINGS OF THE AUTOPSY -

Michael Jackson was found to be in a severe stage of malnutrition. He weighed just 8 stone 1 ounce at his time of death, and standing at 5 foot ten, this was way too low.

Friends and family had feared for a while that Michael might be anorexic as his weight had plummeted over the last few months with the worry of the impending 50 date concerts coming up at the London, 02 Arena.

The contents of his stomach contained traces of undisolved pills but no food—

His body was found to be riddled with injection wounds and beneath his lustrous black wig the aging king of pop was totally bald, save for a light grey fuzz upon the top of his head.

The bridge of his nose was missing and it was also totally collapsed to one side.

Jackson was also covered with plastic surgery marks, stark reminders of the 13 odd operations he had gone through in his search for perfection.

There were cuts to his back and there was also bruising to his legs and knees. The tubing inserted during resuscitation and the oxygen masks caused damage also.

Jackson suffered several broken ribs, the results of vigorous pumping of his chest which was incurred when the star suffered cardiac arrest.

‘Dr Conrad Murray who performed the CPR, apparently found Jackson unconscious in bed. ‘Murray’s lawyer, Edward Chernoff, says Murray went into Jackson’s bedroom and saw that he wasn’t breathing’.

Chernoff told the Associated Press, “He just happened to find him in his bed, and he wasn’t breathing. Mr. Jackson was still warm and had a pulse.” Though the time that this incident occured is not specified.

tmz
dr_conrad_murray

The CPR procedure would normally be done on a hard surface such as the floor, as was later instructed by the advisor in the 911 call, and not on a soft domestic mattress. So why did the Doctor continue to do this incorrectly. And why did he not call 911 immediately.

There is a 56 minute missing time period according to reports, before the fire medics arrived. What exactly happenend in that long period of time between the administered Demorel injection given at 11.30 and the ambulance arriving at 12.26? which took only 3 minutes to arrive after the 911 call.

And at what exact time did Dr. Murray find Jackson still warm and with a pulse??
Still alive…

I wonder just ‘how long’ the Doctor performed CPR on Jackson on the bed before the 911 call was made by a member of the Jackson staff. - It doesn’t bear thinking about.

When the EMTs attended they found evidence that someone had been performing CPR on Michael Jackson for “quite some time.” Medics also attempted CPR but were aware at this point that Jackson was in fact dead and they wanted to call the coroner to come and pick up the body.

I have now acquired information that the call to 911 was made by a member of Jackson’s staff ‘half an hour’ after the Dr. found MJ unconscious - according to the doc’s lawyer, Edward Chernoff.

‘Chernoff explained this unbelievable revelation by saying Dr. Conrad Murray didn’t immediately make the call from his cell phone because he didn’t know the exact address of Michael’s mansion. For the record, the house is just above Sunset Blvd. in Beverly Hills — one of the most famous streets in the country’.
tmz

It just doesn’t add up. The times that things happened need to be accounted for. There are quite a lot of unanswered questions hanging in the air here. Questions that need answering.

Only one person can answer them. The man who was alone with Jackson, the last person to see him alive, Dr Conrad Murray, before another member of staff arrived and, witnessing the scene, immediately contacted 911.

- Listen to the 911 Call Here -

- Distressing 911 Phone Call from Michael Jackson’s House -

Also there were four injection piercings found close to his heart. One which was off course and had hit a rib, the other three which had pierced the heart wall and caused further damage. These could have been given in an attempt to give a direct hit of adrenaline in a bid to re-start his heart.

In one final indignity, the tip of the star’s butchered nose was seen missing as he was taken onto the waiting ambulance.

The stress and pressure for his upcoming 50 gigs at the 02 Arena in London had taken its toll. Michael was terrified of the thought of this and he was angry that he had agreed to do 10 gigs but had been pressured into finally agreeing to do 50 by his management.

He knew this was an impossible task for him and with his health in serious decline, he wasn’t eating and the fact that he no longer worked out, he knew he was not fit enough for the monumentous challenge of the physical dance routines over 50 shows.

He didn’t want to disappoint his fans by performing badly and the fact that his voice was no longer there meant he would have to lip-synch his way through the performance. The 02 Arena has the best facilities for this, so this would have been the least of his problems.

- MJ in Rehearsals for the 02 Concerts -
michael_jackson_02_rehearsals

In all reality, not only could Michael Jackson not complete the 50 gigs, he couldn’t even do the 10.

He collapsed in just the second rehearsal for the shows and it was only last year that he was being transported in a wheelchair. Also, recent photos show him being propped up, barely able to walk even.

michael_jackson_in_wheelchair

He cancelled a couple of his 02 dates, saying he was under-rehearsed, but in all truth, he would never have rehearsal enough. These dates were never going to happen.

The greed of the people around him pushing Michael to agree to an insurmountable task which pushed him over the edge in the last couple of months of his life. Their only motive being the money they would make off him.

His serious lung condition not only stole his voice but took his strength away too. Michael also had terrible recurring nightmares about being murdered, thought the swine flu would kill him if he came to England and more recently, Michael told people “I would be better off dead”, he said: “I’m done”.

michael_Jackson_in_mask

He was also recently being treated for skin cancer. How could his management expect an ailing 50 year old with cancer who was in a prescription drug stupor, to sing and dance his way through 50 gruelling concerts?!

The findings of the autopsy paint a very sad picture.

The toxicology reports which should be through in 4-5 weeks should shed some light on these questions, and more. – Then we may find out just what or who is to be ultimately held responsible for the death of Michael Jackson. -

Michael Jackson – Prescription Medication – The Facts

Michael Jackson – Prescription Medication – The Fears

michael_jackson_sad_5

As the dust settles, and the shocked world comes to terms with the monumental loss to music of Michael Jackson, one can’t help but question: ‘Why’? –

This shy and gentle soul was mismanaged and misinformed by the enclosed circle around him.

His entourage and hangers-on spun a tight web around the star that was impossible to penetrate. The “Vampires” and “Leeches” sucking the energy from him as the eccentric and troubled star struggled to exist within an imperfect world.

Family and friends feared this end for the multi talented ‘king of Pop’ and felt it was not so much a case of how he would die, but when. This was simply an accident that was waiting to happen. His body pumped full of powerful, ill matched drugs.

His fate was sealed by the horrific cocktail of prescription drugs that he filled his body with in a bid to try and find some kind of mental, physical and spiritual balance.

The strugggle with his identity fuelled by his inner demons lead him to drastically change his own image through the powers of extensive plastic surgery. Never seemingly happy with the results, his addictive personality took the procedures way too far.

His face now unrecognisable to that of the cute, young lead singer who performed live with his brothers in the Jackson Five.

His need for further acceptance and recognition saw him go solo. Further alienating him from a normality surrounded by the sanctity of a relatively stable life and the companionship and guidance of his siblings.

early_jackson_5

the_jackson_5_2

His dependency on these drugs was real and very necessary for him to allow him to function within his sad, surreal and unstable world. His life way out of control and his decision making taken out of his hands, whilst he used his tight knit circle as an emotional crutch.

Michael himself feared and accepted that one day he would probably die from the cocktail of drugs that he was taking, which controlled every part of his waking and sleeping day.

His ex-wife, Lisa-Marie Presley stated that this was the real pressure on their 19 month relationship that she could not cope with. She ended their marriage with sadness in her heart with her failure to help Michael kick his drug habit.

She was in “in over her head in trying” to save Jackson “from the inevitable”. – As she spoke with Michael of her father’s death (Elvis Presley), he said: “I am afraid that I am going to end up like him, the way he did”.

Michael Jackson apparently knew “exactly how his fate would be played out” and feared his death would echo that of Elvis Presley, Lisa Marie Presley wrote in her online blog.

On her Myspace page there is this statement:

“I am sitting here watching on the news, as an ambulance leaves the driveway of his home, the big gates, the crowds outside the gates, the coverage, the crowds outside the hospital, the cause of death and what may have led up to it and the memory of this conversation hit me, as did the unstoppable tears”.

“As I sit here overwhelmed with sadness, reflection and confusion at what was my biggest failure to date, watching on the news almost play by play the exact scenario I saw happen on August 16, 1977, happening again right now with Michael (A sight I never wanted to see again) just as he predicted, I am truly, truly gutted”.

“I wanted to ’save him’,” - “I wanted to save him from the inevitable, which is what has just happened.”

“The hardest decision I have ever had to make, which was to walk away and let his fate have him, even though I desperately loved him and tried to stop or reverse it somehow”.

“It was an unusual relationship, yes, where two unusual people who did not live or know a ‘normal life’ found a connection, perhaps with some suspect timing on his part,” she wrote. “Nonetheless, I do believe he loved me as much as he could love anyone and I loved him very much.” - Lisa-Marie’s Myspace Blog: http://bit.ly/5wR7p

Michael_Jackson_and_Lisa_Marie_Presley

Elvis Presley died in similar circumstance. His bloated, 42 year old body found slumped in the bathroom of his Graceland Mansion. Cause of death was stated as ‘Irregular heartbeat’, but the sealed autopsy didn’t silence the accusations that the heavy use of prescription drugs was probably the true cause. –

Elvis_dead_the_sun

Michael Jackson was on a horrendous cocktail of opposing drugs according to information supplied in the Sun Newspaper.

These drugs are highly powerful and taken on their own they can be potentially dangerous. Taken as a cocktail, it’s a case of ‘Russian Roulette’.

‘The dangerous mix contains painkillers, anti-depressants, muscle relaxants and anti-anxiety tablets. Some can only be administered by medics’.

michael_jackson_scared_and_lonely

- VICODIN -

PRESCRIPTION painkiller containing paracetamol and the opiate hydrocodone.
It usually comes in a tablet form. US rapper Eminem was addicted to the drug.

- DILAUDID -

POWERFUL painkiller derived from morphine.
Used to numb post-surgery pain, chronic back pain and broken bones.
Users can become anxious and suffer severe mood swings.

- XANAX -

AN anti-anxiety pill that fights panic attacks and aids sleep, meant for short-term use only.
The drug is also thought to boost the risk of heart problems.

- SOMA -

THESE muscle relaxant tablets are known to be highly addictive but they are particularly effective for tackling back pain.
They can cause severe drowsiness in users.

- PRILOSEC -

TREATS acid reflux (when stomach acid leaks to the gullet) and ulcers.
Such conditions are common in those with irregular eating patterns and disorders like anorexia.

- PAXIL -

AMERICAN name for anti-depressant Seroxat.
Treats severe depression, social phobia, anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder.
Linked to heightened suicide risk and increased depression.

- *DEMEROL* -

MORPHINE-based potent painkiller, used to numb pain after ops or birth.
Only medics may administer it.
Drug puts pressure on heart. Users can struggle to breathe.

- ZOLOFT -

ANTI-anxiety tablets taken to stave off panic attacks and depression.
They should not be used with any other anti-depressants.
They have been known to cause insomnia in users. -

In retrospect and taken in this fresh context, the lyrics to his 1997 song, ‘Morphine’ from his album ‘Blood on the Line’ are even more poignant and disturbing in the light of his demise.

I think to listen to this track you begin to understand the strong relationship that highly addictive prescription drugs had in Michael Jackson’s life. -

‘Relax This won’t hurt you Before I put it in Close your eyes and count to ten Don’t cry I won’t convert you There’s no need to dismay Close your eyes and drift away’

Doctor Conrad Murray who is reported to have given Jackson the Demoral injection shortly before his death and who was with Jackson when he died, is currently being interviewed by the LAPD.

dr_conrad_murray

Whilst they still need to talk to Dr Tohme, who claims he is Jackson’s manager and lifelong friend, he had this to say: “I don’t have anything to do with his. This is B.S. - Why should I talk to police?” When referring to Jackson’s medication and state of health.

The Los Angeles County Coroner conducted an autopsy on Friday and while he said there was “no indication of foul play,” the official cause of death could not be determined.

The Jackson family have now demanded a second autopsy. – This certainly isn’t a cut and dried case by any means, and as the battle for the truth goes on, funeral arrangements are being discussed by the Jackson family, for the king of pop’s final resting place.

With the death of Michael Jackson, the world has been cruelly robbed of a great entertainer who fell foul to the hideous addiction of prescription drugs, and in his search for some kind of inner peace and normality in an otherwise distorted world, he sadly, found it impossible to function without them. -

Michael Jackson King of Pop is Dead - Death of a Legend

The world is in shock. -

Michael Jackson, superstar and legend in his own lifetime has died aged just 50.

- Distressing 911 Phone Call from Michael Jackson’s House -

When the Fire Department paramedics arrived at the rented, Holby Hills home of Michael Jackson at around 12.26, the star was on the ground having suffered a heart attack, with his personal physician attending to him.

He had no pulse and was not breathing and all efforts were made to resuscitate him at the scene, but to no avail.

At 1.14, the star entered the emergency room at the UCLA hospital, where medical staff fought for an hour in a bid to save his life.

Family members at the hospital were distraught, frantically pleading: “Please save him” - “You have to save him”

Doctors at the UCLA Medical Center pronounced Michael Jackson dead at around 2.26 after he had slipped into a deep coma after suffering a full cardiac arrest at his home.

Whilst the world of music mourns, his shocked fans must be devastated and stunned at Michael Jacksons sudden and untimely demise.

Though to those who knew him, it was not so. Family and friends feared for Michael, and the cocktail of medication that he was on. In their minds this was a tragic accident that was waiting to happen.

But until the results of the toxicology report are revealed within the next 6-8 weeks, they are holding their tongues, but vow to speak out.

Michael was in a lot of pain due to damage to the vertebre in his back and pain to his leg after breaking it when falling off a stage. There was also the incident where he was badly burned whilst filming a Pepsi ad.

It is being reported that Jackson was in receipt of synthetic Demerol injections for this pain, a morphine substitue, and it is beleived that one was administered shortly before his death, at 11.30 by the elusive Dr. Conrad Murray.

The LAPD are now searching for the missing doctor who performed this procedure. His BMW car abandoned outside the Jackson home.

There was also evidence at the scene of a drug called Lidocaine which is often used to treat erratic disturbances in the heart’s rhythm.

‘Demerol is notorious for its use by drug abusers and people with addiction disorders, and a target for ‘criminal diversion’ where legitimate prescriptions find their way on to the black market. It is highly toxic, compared with others in this class, with side effects that include depressed breathing which can lead to respiratory arrest, shock and cardiac arrest.

Overdose symptoms range from blood pressure and heart problems to coma. Dangerous side effects such as breathing problems and coma can occur when taken at the same time as a number of other drugs, legal and illicit, including alcohol and tranquillisers. In some countries, including Australia, tight limits have been put on its use’.

‘Jackson wrote about the drug in his 1997 album Blood on the Dance Floor in a song entitled Morphine. “Trust in me, trust in me, put all your trust in me, you’re doin morphine. Demerol. Demerol. Oh God, he’s taking Demerol” - (daily mail)

When the EMTs attended they found evidence that someone had been performing CPR on Michael Jackson for “quite some time.” Medics also attempted CPR but were aware at this point that Jackson was in fact dead and they wanted to call the coroner to pick up the body.

Jacksons personal, live-in doctor demanded that they continue to try to revive him even though it was quite clear to them that he had gone. The decision was then made to take the body to the UCLA hospital.

Many bags of prescription drugs have now been seized by the investigating team from the $100, 000 per month, rented home of the late star. -

Thousands of his loyal followers congregated outside the Ronald Regan, UCLA Medical Centre, which is set in the grounds of the University campus, awaiting an official announcement of Michael Jackson’s death, which the coroner confirmed.

His body was flown, shrouded in white, by the Sheriffs helicopter to the coroners office. It was hard to imagine that beneath that lifeless, hospital sheet, lay one of the brightest musical stars of all time.

Crowds are flocking to the Apollo Theatre in Harlem, NY, to leave flowers. A place where Jackson gave one of his first performances, along with his brothers the ‘Jackson Five’.

Many too are arriving at the Holywood Walk of Fame to mourn the death of a musical legend.

Quincy Jones who collaborated with Jackson, producing the iconic album ‘Thriller’, which remains the best selling album of all time, said of him: “Michael Jackson was the consumate entertainer”.

The world wide web was at virtual standstill last night by the sheer weight of volume from the many searches being performed to try and find out if the awful news was true.

Social networking site Twitter crashed, as did entertainment site TMZ who was forefront at this tragic, breaking news story.

Google itself shut down, beleiving the volume of searches to be a virus attack. The Internet slowed down to a snails pace as more and more people became aware of the death of megastar, Michael Jackson.

Today, the day after his death, 70% of all Google searches are for Michael Jackson. The figures speak for themselves. The world is in mourning. -

Jackson has had quite a few health scares over the years. There were rumours that he needed a lung transplant, and more recently he has been undergoing treatment for skin cancer.

The gruelling rehearsals and the stress and pressure of the upcoming, mammoth 50 show dates taking in the 02 Arena in the UK must have been contributing factors to the fragile and delicate state of Jackson’s health and mind.

His addiction to prescription drugs was taking it’s toll. Out of the 45 rehearsals for his upcoming 50 shows, Jackson had only attended 2 sessions. Blame has been put on his inability to function that is down to his dependency on anti-anxiety and pain killing drugs.

It is reported that he was ‘just not able to pick himself up out of the painkiller stupor’ that he was in. The pain killers had taken over his life.

It was buzz on the streets that the thought of this was daunting to him and he is reputed to have said “I don’t know if I can live through so many shows”.

It was clearly a great worry to him. But financial pressure and the knowledge that the money to be accumulated from the dates would have put him back in front, which was a commitment that he had to see through.

Just when the world was eagerly awaiting his comeback and final curtain call, this sad news now heralds the end of an era.

His sister La Toya was seen rushing into the hospital crying after Jackson was pronounced dead.

Veteran film actress, of ‘National Velvet’ fame, and close friend, Elizabeth Taylor, dashed to the hospital to say her goodbyes.

The LAPD Homicide Department will be handling the investigation into Michael Jackson’s death. But they have stated “Do not read anything into that”.

It is quite customary in a high profile case such as this, for this procedure to be in place.

The autopsy takes place today. - But until official confirmation, the cause of death is stated: ‘unknown’.

The untimely and sudden death of Michael Jackson poses many questions…

“This is such a massive loss on so many levels - Words fail me”. -
Lisa Marie Presley (Ex wife, and daughter of the late Elvis Presley)

Michael leaves behind his three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson, and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II. -

Latest on Chris Brown Rihanna Trial Result - Guilty as Charged

Image: Getty

A last minute plea bargain has been accepted against Chris Brown, 19, and the state in the singer’s assault case against singer Rihanna Fenty.

Chris Brown has been ordered to serve 5 years probation and 180 days of service as his punishment for the attack on ‘Umbrella’ singer Rihanna, 20. Brown is also required to attend domestic violence classes.

Rihanna had discussed the plea bargain with prosecutors and after the hearing her attorney said: “Rihanna believes this is a fair and just resolution to this case.”

This was agreed through a last minute plea bargain. It was either that, or go to trial and face the possibility of a four year stretch for assault if he were to be found guilty.

Judge Patricia M. Schnegg was presiding over the court for the preliminary hearing when she said: “Do we have a deal?”

When asked if he wanted to plead ‘guilty’ to the charge of assault instead of facing the possibility of four years in prison, Brown said, “Yes, ma’am”, which he then repeated several times.

Brown does not live in California. His main address is in Virginia. So he will be on supervised probation while he serves out his 180 days that were set by the judge.

She also stated that: “I will allow Mr. Brown to do his 180 days of service in Virginia”

“California law requires that he comes back every three months to show progress,” she continued. “Is that what you want to do, Mr. Brown?” To which he replied “Yes,” giving his full name and date of birth to the court.

Brown was also ordered to stay at least 50 yards away from Rihanna, but the judge accepted that in certain circumstances such as a music event, this would be difficult and then stated that in these instances the distance would be reduced to 10 yards.

Rihanna attended the court hearing wearing dark glasses and was led in through a back entrance, once Brown was ushered out.

Brown will attend court again on August the 5th for formal sentencing. -

- PREVIOUSLY -

Chris Brown, 19, had pleaded not guilty to the charges of assault and threatening behaviour upon his singer, girlfriend, Rihanna when he originally appeared in court.

‘The criminal complaint against Brown states that in an alleged incident in February, Brown “did willfully and unlawfully commit an assault on ROBYN F. by means of force likely to produce great bodily injury.”

The second count states that Brown “did willfully and unlawfully threaten to commit a crime which would result in death and great bodily injury to ROBYN F., with the specific intent that the statement be taken as a threat.” The complaint alleges that Rihanna “was reasonably in sustained fear of her safety and the safety of her immediate family.”

Following the heinous domestic assault on singer, Rihanna (Robin Rihanna Fenty), 20, a couple of months ago by singer/songwriter boyfriend, Chris Brown, 19, US radio stations began pulling his tunes left right and centre.

Jay-Z, fuming when he learnt of the assault, said: “He’s a walking dead man” –

Brown was charged with assault and making criminal threats when he appeared in court. He was released on bail of $50, 000 to return for sentencing this month.

The attack occurred on February 8th in the early hours of the morning after the couple had attended a Pre-Grammy party.

Brown turned on the 20 year old, Barbados born singer, Rihanna, as they were driving in his rented Lamborghini.

The incident happened when Rihanna read out a lengthy 3 page text that she had found on his phone supposedly from a former girlfriend.

Brown got her in a headlock till she nearly passed out, banged her head hard against the car door, punched her and bit her fingers.

She was covered in bruises, had a split lip, bite marks on her arm and fingers and a badly swollen face with black eyes. Brown also tried to push Rihanna out of the car.

Brown is reported to have said: “You just did the stupidest thing ever” “I’m going to kill you”. “I’m going to beat the shit out of you when we get home” -

The dashboard was splattered with blood and Rihanna needed hospital treatment following the brutal, unprovoked attack upon her.

Chris Brown was then put up as a Nominee for Nickelodeon’s ‘Kid’s Choice Awards’, despite the felony charges lodged against the volatile singer.

He was nominated for favourite male singer and for favourite song with: “Kiss Kiss”, up alongside Rihanna, for “Don’t Stop the Music”, who police concurred, was the victim of, biting, punching and attempted choking by Brown. -

The Bourne Ultimatum - Matt Damon

Published by christianna under News Edit This

-The Bourne Ultimatum-

the_bourne_ultimatum

Directed by Paul Greengrass, and starring Matt Damon. The production year is 2007. The Bourne Ultimatum is a film in the Action/adventure spy/thriller Genre. It is the third in the series of the Bourne trilogy. The first being the Bourne Identity, and the second The Bourne Supremacy. The film is based on the Bourne trilogy books written by Robert Ludlum.

During the frantic action of the film there there are some great stunts and chases to watch out for, on rooftops, and motor cycle, car, and on foot. The fight scenes are excellent, with prolonged chasing, where the camera work once again gives you the feel you are in with the action.

There are some excellent chase scenes shot in Morrocco, with Bourne leaping over rooftops to escape, and crashing through windows. You are feeling Bournes stressful avoidance of capture, as the music mounts, you are on the edge of your seat, with your heart of your mouth.

the_Bourne_Ultimatum_7
-Synopsis-
Jason Bourne ( Matt Damon) the main protagonist, plays a CIA assassin on the run from the government. He is a man with a mission, and a bad case of Amnesia. He is on a constant search for his true identity, and the missing link. The CIA think he is ‘the source’ of a leak divulging top secret information on operation ‘Treadstone’, which has been re-named ‘Blackbriar’ as it’s need for secrecy escalated. The CIA issue orders for hit man ‘The Asset’ to find Bourne and eliminate him. Noah Vosen (David Strathhairn) plays CIA Deputy Director, and he brings in Pamela Landy ( Joan Allen) to assist, and if needs be, be the fall guy if all goes wrong.

Bourne has meanwhile heard British Political Journalist Simon Ross ( Paddy Considine) who works for the Guardian Newspaper, he is speaking on television about the evidence he has uncovered regarding operation Treadstone, and consequently, Jason Bourne’s past. The CIA realise Simon Ross is in fact ‘the source’, and issue orders to find and kill both of them, as they are convinced they have, or definitely will, make contact, and at no cost can the CIA have operation Treadstones true purpose uncovered, and during the duration of this film we observe Bourne evading, and outmaneuvering, the deadliest CIA group of highly-trained killers to date.

The film opens with a scene of Bourne being chased through the streets of London by the police, and finally escaping into the labyrinth of the Waterloo subway. - The fast pace of the opening sequence is frantic with accompanying music in keeping with the frenzied feel of the footage, and the busy sound of the London traffic, with the crowded streets and scurrying people. The cameras change hurriedly between the screeching traffic, and the Actors. This is fast paced, picture postcard snippets of the story, given in flash back clips, and present day, hardly giving you time to breathe, you are just caught up in the excitement of the fantastic, slick direction of the opening sequence to this film, whilst over and over again, we hear “Will you commit to this programme?” ringing in our ears.

the_bourne_ultimatum_2

The hard hitting roller coaster pace just doesn’t let up, it was a good twenty minutes before I could finally relax for a second, and draw breath, it was just sheer excitement and visual concentration all the way. The direction was superb. It’s probably the best spy thriller I have seen. I love Espionage themed films, and although there is no intricate storyline here, the the Bourne ultimatum demands your concentration at every turn.

It is fast! You have to keep up. The camera jumps between characters in dramatic close up mode. The whole film relies a lot on the close up, and this works very well, giving an intimate feel to the proceedings. Bourne ultimatum demands your concentration at every turn.

During the action of the film there there are some great stunts, and chases to watch out for, on rooftops, and motor cycle, car, and on foot. The fight scenes are excellent, with prolonged chasing, where the camera work once again gives you the feel you are in with the action. There are some excellent chase scenes in Morrocco, with Bourne leaping over rooftops to escape, and crashing through peoples windows. You are feeling Bournes stressful avoidance of capture, as the music mounts, you are on the edge of your seat, with your heart of your mouth.

the_Bourne_Ultimatum_6

The Cinematography is brilliant, with use of jerky hand held camera effect, giving a feel of the viewer following the character, observing at close range, fly on the wall type voyeurism. This works well and takes you into the action and the heart of the film with the frame trembling and blurred focus, and at times the Actor being partly obscured by objects or by another person. It somehow seems more like real life and not so much as if you are watching a film, more like participating in it, and eavesdropping on the conversations.

The camera work is very close up on the actors faces, and it goes out of focus and distorts at times, giving a surreal feel to parts of the film, as the music warps and slows down. Most of the film is set in close-ups. The quickness of the change of shots adds excitement to the action, and the camera is never quite steady, the frame shakes, giving the feel of a home movie being shot, and the even rhythmed beat and quickening pace , and volume of the music builds great tension and suspense to the unfolding scenes.

The roles are perfectly cast, and the acting superb. This is one hell of a film and at no point did I feel anything in the film could have been improved upon. It is one of the slickest productions I have seen in a long time. I am not easy to please and can lose concentration easily (short attention span) But the Bourne Ultimatum had me totally enthralled from the very opening sequence. It is a dazzling display of fast paced action. Bourne travels to Paris, London, Madrid, Tangier and New York in search of his true identity, and the killer of his girlfriend. The film is shot against some wonderful backdrops, though you don’t get to see too much of the scenery, as this film is all action with no padding.

bourne_Ultimatium_5

It is totally action packed from start to finish, the music never lets up, and plays a very large part in this film, building tension and adding to the mounting excitement of the viewer.

Matt Damon is brilliant in the role of CIA trained lethal assassin Jason Bourne. His acting is excellent, and he delivers the right mix of hardened murderer, and lost soul. He is a man without a past, and his need for closure and confirmation as to who he really is, is moving. He gives a polished and skillful performance, and you have total empathy with the man who searches for the source of his true identity. He battles between his killer instincts, and his true hidden self. His sense of calm, and quick thinking in dangerous situations, have you with him every step of the way. It’s all split second decision making going on before your eyes, and I was so caught up in the action, with it’s twists and turns, that my stomach was in a knot! - The film focuses quite a lot on the theme of Bournes identity in this sequel, and you see Bourne struggle with his knowledge that he has killed, and yet he doesn’t know the reason why.

the_bourne_ultimatum_4

The mix of Actors is spot on, and the quality of their performances are 1st class, and they interact well with each other within the storyline. Paul Greengrass’s direction is fantastic. In Bourne Ultimatum he has really upped the ante and made this film his own. His style and authority is etched upon this film. His use of tension building is expert, and is used to maximum effect to give the viewer a sense of being on a roller coaster ride. He takes you to the top of the stress sphere and back down again with a jolt.

This is a high quality, action packed, whirlwind of a movie, it takes you deep into the film with it’s use of hand held camera techniques. The brilliantly staged action scenes will have your heart racing. This is lightening paced story, with violence, stunning chases, and stunts. It is non stop, thrill a minute, great Cinema, and in conclusion I can say Paul Greengrass has more than stamped his own identity on this trilogy. Cinematographer Oliver Wood returns once again on this film, from the Bourne Supremacy, and stuns us with his use of camera techniques and fast cuts. This is very much a part of the relentless pace of the film, and adds to the rise and fall of tension and excitement. His use of the close up mode has been used to great effect to give us the feel of observing over the shoulder of the Actor, bringing us to the very core of the action.

-In Conclusion-

This is a superior quality, fully loaded, value for money film, and it will keep you engaged, and gripped throughout. It’s by far and away the best film I have seen in quite a while. The acting is superb, and the action is constant throughout the film. It’s superbly directed, and this is a great ending to this Trilogy, and definitely the best of the Three. In this age of the three-quels, this has got to be the best one out there, and I recommend Bourne Ultimatum 100%. It’s the ‘Must See’ Movie of 2007. The BBFC rating is 12 A, and it contains moderate violence. The running time is 111 minutes. -

‘The Bourne Ultimatum was released on August 3, 2007 where it grossed $69.2 million in ticket sales in its first weekend of release. By the end of August 2007, the film was said to be on track to exceed the international box office gross of the first two films in the trilogy.’

House of Flying Daggers Directed by Yimou Zhang

House_of_Flying_Daggers

House of Flying Daggers is a Film in the Wuxia Genre. It is similar in style to that of ‘Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon’, and ‘Warriers of Heaven and Earth’.

Released in 2004, House of Flying Daggers falls into the category of action/romance. It’s different to other Wuxia films as it is not so much a Martial Arts Film per se, it is more of a love story. Directed by Zhang Yimo, it is one of the most visually striking films I have seen.

-Synopsis -

With the Tang Dynasty in decline, rebel splinter groups were forming, the largest of these being a secret society called ‘House Of Flying Daggers’. They become a powerful force and their philosophy being ‘to steal from the rich to give to the poor’. The Authorities capture and kill the leader, and when a new mysterious leader is chosen, new orders are issued to kill him within ten days. Two police Captains named Jin and Mio arrest and imprison Mei, a beautiful, blind dancer who is the daughter of the previous leader.

They devise a plot to release her, and the Police Captain Jin poses as a lone warrior called ‘Wind’ who will feign friendship and assist in her escape. He gains her trust, and becomes her travelling companion, his ultimate plan being for Mei to lead him to the House Of Flying Daggers. But the revelations that unfold, and what occurs upon their troubled journey was not what Jin had anticipated.

The film is set in 859 AD, and it opens with a breathtaking Chinese solo dance scene when Mei participates in a game where beans are thrown against giant chinese drums. Dressed in traditional dancing costume with long sleeves which drag along the floor Mei gives a spectacular dance display in which her sleeves are extended and thrown against the drums which the beans have hit. It is a stunning visual performance of traditional Chinese dance.

You immediately warm to the character of Mei, who has a delicate fragile quality, she also has a strength and stubbornness, which endear you to her even more, because even though she is blind, she is warrior through and through. Actress Zhang Ziyi lived with a blind girl for two months before undertaking the role, and she gives a captivating performance as the blind Warrior.

The storyline moves at a gentle pace, but at no time was I bored, or wanting it to speed up a little. The joy of this film lies in the scenery, and Landscape, and breathtaking quality of the camera work. I was totally enraptured throughout at the beauty I was witnessing within this film. Every second was a work of Art, and I was lost to the authentic capture of this age in time.

I was grabbed by the very opening sequence by the sheer beauty of this film.
scenes_from_house_of_flying_daggers

The Cinematography was superb, the decorations, costumes and props for this film were based on Chinese Artwork of the period, to give the film an air of authenticity, and even though computer generated imagery was used in the fight scenes, it blended well and only heightened the visual display. The fight scenes were finely choreographed, and filmed and acted out like practiced dance routines. The landscape shots were stunning, in fact the Cinematography was possibly the best I have seen. The film won many awards including Best Director, Best Foreign Language Film, Best effects, and Best Cinematography.

House_of_Flying_Daggers 2

The Dialogue in House of the Flying Daggers was to a minimum, as this film is mainly visual. So if you are after a fast moving, action packed film, this will not be for you. If on the other hand you enjoy a gentle, beautifully crafted love story, with stunning choreographed dagger and sword fight scenes interspersed throughout, then watch this film, it will not disappoint! I also have to mention the musical score, it is well worked to mood and scene and beautifully arranged throughout.

The thing I liked about the film was it’s clean cut lines. It was precise and perfect in every way, and very much as I perceive the Chinese culture and way of life to be. I suppose the main reason that it held me spellbound, was for it’s sheer visual beauty, and immediately after watching it, I wanted to see it all over again. I particularly liked the use of strong colours in the film. One amazing scene is set in a Bamboo field, where the green of the bamboo was enhanced to a vivid shade, it was striking and gave the fight scene a 3d quality. Another use of opposing colouring was a scene towards the end where there is a beautiful stark white snowstorm, and the contrast of blood upon snow was absolutely breathtaking.

Possibly the only negative thing I would have to say about House Of Flying Daggers, was it’s lack of message. It is basically a love story, and a hugely moving one too. But at the end I was left wondering what moral was to be learnt from this tale. The only slight disappointment was at the very end when I felt they had included something that simply wasn’t necessary, and which detracted from the impact of the scene. It was a Poem which Jin recited to Mei, and in it’s translation from Chinese to English it seemed to lose somewhat any real meaning that it was trying to portay and it sounded totally out of context in the scene. I think the only reason they included it was because this film was based upon the theme from this Poem.

In Director Yimou Zhang’s previous films, including the critically acclaimed ‘The story of Qiu Ju’ and ‘Raise the red lantern’ the message normally contained within his films would be one of huge sacrifice or of a similar importance. This was basically a love story woven around fight scenes, with no real depth of storyline, but somehow this didn’t matter. Director Zhang was criticized that the making of this film was heavily aimed at Western audiences and not of his usual mould.

A fact that troubled me was that tripwires and other tricks were used on the horses in the film to aid weight to the fight scenes, a practice which is legal in The Ukraine and China where this film was shot, but brought further criticism to Zhang. In some scenes the continuity leaves a little to be desired, though I am always very aware of continuity, and probably something someone else may not even notice. But these things are minor, and measure for measure I still think this is a film of Excellence.

There are strong supporting performances by Takeshi Kaneshiro as Captain Jin, and Andy Lau as Captain Leo. House Of Flying Daggers was Released to the general public in 2004. It is subtitled and the spoken language is Mandarin. This Film is one of very few to be released on EVD. (Enhanced Versatile Disc). The BBFC rating is 15 as it contains some sexuality, and Martial Arts Violence. It has a running time of 119 minutes.

The Main Cast are as follows:

Takeshi Kaneshiro~Captain Jin Andy Lau ~Captain Leo Zhang Ziyi ~ Mei Song Dandan ~ Yee Crew
It was Directed by Zhang Yimou~ Written by Feng Li, Bin Wang, and Zhang Yimou~ Music by Shigeru Umebayashi ~

Cinematography is by Xiaoding Zhao.

Kung Fu Star David Carradine Found Hung in Bangkok Hotel Wardrobe

Published by christianna under News Edit This

Kung Fu Star David Carradine Found Hung in Bangkok Hotel Wardrobe

Actor David Carradine, 72, of Kill Bill and popular 70’s TV Martial arts programme Kung Fu, has been found dead in a wardrobe of the Park Nai Lert, Thailand hotel.

His naked body was found hung with a nylon rope noose around his neck and genitals, which is thought to have been taken from the hotel curtains.

This has sparked speculation that the actor may have died whilst performing a solo sex act, such as auto-erotic asphyxiation.

A dangerous practice where the participant will bring themselves to the brink of death by cutting off the blood supply to the brain as a form of sexual arousal which in many cases can lead to accidental asphyxiation.

It is estimated that in the USA alone, between 500 and 1000 victims of A.E.A die each year, most of these being men.

Another star who lost their lives in this way, was Michael Hutchence when in 1997, the INXS frontman was found dead, strangulated by a leather belt in a hotel room in Sydney.

It was concluded that He too had also died from auto-erotic asphyxiation but even though there was no suicide note a verdict of suicide was recorded.

Carradine failed to show for an arranged meal with the crew on Wednesday night and his body was found the next morning by the maid.

He was in Bangkok for filming on his latest film ‘Stretch’ when his body was discovered in the wardrobe.

Carradine achieved iconic status when he played the part of a travelling, fugitive Shaolin monk, Kwai Chang Caine in the popular cult 70’s TV series ‘Kung Fu’, a role in which he portrayed great charisma and a quiet sense of serenity.

More recently he came to the fore once again when he played the title role of Bill in the Quentin Tarantino ‘Kill Bill’ films, volumes 1 and 2.

David_Carradine_Kill_Bill

Foul play is not suspected at this stage and there were no visible signs of forced entry to the hotel room. Though the police do seem to be ruling out a shoe-print which was found on the bed which does not match any of Carradine’s shoes

There was no obvious signs of a struggle and no suspicious circumstances were evident the police in Thailand said. They are treating the actor’s death as suicide. There was no suicide note.

Though it does apppear that he did have thoughts on suicide. In an interview a few years ago, Carradine said: “I remember one time sitting in the window of the third or fourth floor of the Plaza Hotel for about an hour, thinking about just tipping off. And that was at a time when I was having more fun than you could imagine.

“I just thought, ‘Who the —- cares, man? Why don’t I just split?’ Of course I didn’t, so there you go.”

“Look, there was a period in my life when I had a single action Colt 45, loaded, in my desk drawer. And every night I’d take it out and think about blowing my head off, and then decide not to and go on with my life. Put it back in the drawer and open up the laptop and continue writing my autobiography or whatever. But it was just to see.” -

Carradine was a great actor and a modest and gentle man who suffered with acute shyness throughout his life.

He is quoted as saying: “I’ve made it pretty big as an actor in spite of being terminally shy. … Invariably, I had huge obstacles to overcome in anything I tried. Had to work against my genes to achieve my dreams.”

“I’ve always had an especially hard time with everything I’ve tried to do”.

An autopsy on the actor is being carried out at the Bangkok hospital and the findings will be complete over the next 24 hours.

His long and prestigious film career has spanned half a century in which he has played many diverse roles in over 100 films.

In one of the highlights of his career in 1976, Carradine was nominated for a Golden Globe for his role as folk music legend Woody Guthrie in the film “Bound For Glory”.

David Carradine, son of character actor John Carradine, was born in Hollywood, California, and married five times, divorced four. He leaves behind three children.

It states on his official Website: “David’s career as an artist did not begin on the stage, though some of his early career was on and off Broadway.

David’s earliest work was as a sculptor and painter”. -

- Auto-erotic asphyxiation -

Auto-erotic asphyxiation (AEA) is the term used to describe the practice of cutting off the blood supply to the brain through self-applied suffocation methods while masturbating to orgasm. The interference of blood supply to the brain brought on by AEA can induce cerebral anoxia, a deficiency of oxygen in the brain.

It is thought that the lack of blood flow and oxygen can intensify sensations, producing sensations of giddiness, lightheadedness, or exhilaration that can heighten the orgasmic experience. It’s also possible that the helplessness and self-endangerment inherent in the techniques enhance the person’s sexual gratification.

Of course, this same self-endangerment that may provide a thrill to the person carrying out AEA also weakens one’s self-control and judgment, which can easily result in accidental death. Exactly how many people engage in AEA is unknown, and the practice almost always remains a secret until a person dies accidentally.

It’s estimated that between 500 and 1000 deaths occur annually in the United States from this dangerous type of masturbation. While it is thought to be practiced more often by adolescent or young adult guys, a small number of women die from AEA every year.
