Jade Goody Fairytale Wedding Day
- Jade Goody Fairytale Wedding Day –
200 guests descended upon the Impressive Country Hall Hotel in Hertfordshire for the wedding of the year. It was a mixture of family and celebrity as they mingled inside the big white tents.
Jade Goody, 27 was to be married to Jack Tweed, 21. Jades 2 small sons were by her side dressed in their Armani suits ordered specially from the illustrious Harrods department stores.
Jade’s designer wedding dress was in Ivory with a long train attached which the 2 boys held up as she walked. This was a gift from Mohamed Al fayed, the owner of Harrods. There was no veil, as Jade wanted her head bare for the world to see.
This is done as a statement by Jade, with pride, showing that she is not be ashamed of the ravages of cancer and chemotherapy and she is calling for other cancer sufferers to embrace their appearance and not to hide it.
Jade’s highlighting of cancer and bringing it out into the open has had a remarkable effect on the public with already 20% more people coming in for scans than ever before. The doctors have named this increase and new awareness of cancer, ‘The Jade Effect’.
During the 45 minute marriage ceremony, Jade tired and had to take a seat. Her husband sat on the floor beside her with her sons sitting on their knees. The excitement of the previous days had taken their toll upon her.
Jade has terminal cancer and has done brilliantly to handle the stresses of arranging a wedding. It was all done with a laptop from her bed at the Royal Marsden Hospital.
According to reports, Jade looked beautiful and radiant in her stunning wedding gown and in the words of the Bishop, “Jack looked very handsome”. The setting was idyllic and in true fairytale style.
As Jade entered the ceremony she received a standing ovation from the attending guests. Max Clifford, her publicist said “There were a lot of tears, lots of smiles and lots of laughter”. He added, “They are very much in love”.
After the ceremony fireworks were let off in the grounds and a banquet was supplied by a famous nightclub owner. A surprise, seven foot wedding cake was specially made for Jade from the owner of the Sketch restaurant.
Jade likes to dine at the restaurant and the cake was made with the same ingredients that Jade had liked in a cake she had eaten there previously.
The event was shrouded in secrecy as it was exclusive rights to OK magazine at a price of £700,000. The television rights went to Living TV as part of the series jade has been doing with them.
The wedding pictures can be seen in this week’s OK magazine which comes out on Tuesday, or Wednesday in certain regions.
White doves were released into the sky following the wedding. It was a poignant moment; emotional and very moving. Jade has been told by doctors that she has just weeks to live now.
The couple will be staying the night together at the hotel; possibly their last night together. Jack Tweed is tagged and on a 7’0’clock curfew. He was awarded special privileges by Jack Straw, The justice secretary, so he could spend his wedding night with his bride.
Medical teams, doctors and an ambulance were standing by in case Jade was taken ill during the day. But her dream of a fairy tale wedding was realised and she was able to walk down the aisle to become Mrs Jade Goody Tweed.
During the day, high up in the sky and trailing from an aeroplane, was a banner exclaiming “Jade Loves Jack”. To further reinforce to the world her feelings for her husband on this, their very special day. -

I’m glad she got the wedding she was looking for. Great banner they had up in the sky too; very special. I’m sure it was a magical day for all those that attended, and I’ve no doubt that Jade was very pleased that everything went so well on her special day.
It definitely sounds like it was indeed a fairytale wedding day, and I’m pleased that Jade Goody got to have such a special wedding day. I like that white doves were released into the sky, and everything about the wedding just sounds perfect.
Another absolutely excellent news post that you’ve published here, you really are a hugely talented writer, and every time I read your work it makes me smile. This is another post for you to be very proud of.
I think it’s ridiculous Jade should have the money to do this, she has done nothing to earn it but more racist and crude on national television. She claims the T.V show and exclusive picture rights are so her children will have more money to inherit, how much will the armani suits and banners in the sky set her back?
A fairytale wedding it may be , but whether she deserves it,or should have done it so lavishly, is another matter entirely to the unbiased mind.
