Ahmed, Mohamed, and Issa Samouni are innocent victims of a bloody war which rages mercilessly on, though an urgent ceasefire has been called for on both sides.
International calls for an urgent, immediate ceasefire between Hamas and the Israeli forces have not been heeded and Israel will not withdraw its troops from Gaza until “peace and tranquillity” are restored upon Israel from the relentless rocket fire of the Hamas.
The Shifa Hospital, the largest hospital in the Gaza Strip, was full to breaking point with the bodies of the dead. The casualties of the fighting were two or more to a drawer.
Over 20 Palestinian children were killed on Monday during the attacks and the hallways of the hospital were crowded with many people on trollies, and the walking injured who were being treated where they stood, because the wards and beds were all taken with the many Palestinian casualties incurred throughout the strikes.
Israeli forces continued on with their assault on Gaza. Smuggling tunnels, mosques and houses on the Gaza strip felt the force of the Israeli fighters who strategically attacked by air, land and sea, closing in on Palestinian rocket launching areas located near the border.
It is also an integral part of the Israeli mission to destroy hundreds of tunnels between Egypt and Gaza, which Hamas use to bring weapons and rockets through to Hamas fighters.
Thousands of Israeli reserve troops now stand in ready to reinforce the swelling numbers of the Israeli troops and should be joining them on Friday, should a ceasefire not have been put in place by this time.
Hamas have said they will not agree to a truce deal unless it includes an end to the Israeli blockade of Gaza. Israel has vehemently stated that this is something that it is not willing to do.
On Wednesday a brief 3 hour ceasefire by the Israelis allowed vital humanitarian supplies to reach Gaza. The Israeli’s have agreed that these will be set up on a regular basis allowing important medical supplies, fuel, food and water to get through to the right quarters.
“Gaza health officials reported that since the campaign began on Dec. 27 more than 600 Palestinians have been killed and 2,500 wounded.
The latest bombing of a Mosque today, where 15 more people were injured, will add to the mounting list of casualties in the Israeli/Gaza conflict.

It’s terrible that so many people have been injured and killed in Gaza; so many children too, dreadful. The numbers are growing daily, and it’s so horrible that so many people are losing their lives as a result of this conflict.
This is an absolutely brilliant news post from you as always; as ever your writing has a lot to offer here and I really enjoyed reading what you’ve written. It’s a very interesting post, and once again your Gaza update has left me thoroughly impressed.
