John Travolta’s Son Dead – Travolta’s Son Dies – Jett Travolta Death – Travolta Bahama Bathtub Accident - Travolta Tragedy
The 16 year old only son of actor John Travolta and partner Kelly Preston has tragically died.
Jett Travolta was found unconscious at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on the Bay resort community Grand Bahama Island at the location of the family’s vacation home.
The family had arrived at their Hotel on the Grand Bahamas by private plane on Tuesday, ready for the start of their family vacation.
According to Michael Ossi, a lawyer for the Travolta family, Jett had hit his head on the bathtub on Friday morning whilst suffering a seizure. He was discovered by the caretaker at around 10 a.m who immediately alerted 911.
Jett was then rushed to the Rand Memorial Hospital, Freeport where he was pronounced dead, according to a statement from chief police superintendent Basil Rahming.
Jett had suffered with Kawasaki disease since the age of 2. The condition can cause inflammation of the arteries and in very rare cases can lead to lasting heart damage.
Jett also suffered from asthma which was aggravated by aerosols, fertilizers, pesticides and household cleaners. His mother called for more detailed labelling on chemical products.
Kelly also believed strongly in the writings of Scientology founder L. Ron Hubbard and found that his detoxification program helped vastly in giving Jett a better quality of life.
The property owner, Robert Gidel, president of Ginn Resorts, said: “The Travolta’s have become like family to us at Old Bahama Bay and we extend our deepest sympathies to them”.
John Travola leapt to fame for his standout performance in Saturday Night Fever and later his profile was once again lifted in the cult film Pulp Fiction with Uma Thurman.
The Travolta’s also have a daughter, Ella Bleu, 8. - “In 1994 the actor told ‘PEOPLE’ how much he loved fatherhood.”I can’t imagine what life would be like without Jett,” he said”.
An autopsy is now being held to determine the exact cause of death.

That’s so sad, especially that last quote from John Travolta from 1994. Heartwrenching. He obviously cared a lot about his son, and I can’t begin to imagine what losing a child of any age would be like.
It really is terrible when people lose their lives so young in such tragic circumstances. It must have been dreadful for the caretaker that found him too. It’s so horrible when you hear about things like this, and my thoughts are most definitely with the family right now.
