Sarah Palin Grandma – Bristol Palin Gives Birth – Bristol Palin Sells Baby Story - Bristol Palin’s Boyfriend’s Mother Drug Arrest
The 18 year old daughter, Bristol, of former Republican vice-presidential candidate, Sarah Palin, 44, and husband Todd, 44, an American oil field production operator, has given birth to a baby boy on Sunday, December 28th, in Palmer, Alaska.
Bristol, 18, is the eldest of the three daughters by Todd and Sarah Palin. The Palins also have two sons together.
The healthy baby boy arrived at 5:30 am weighing 7 lb. 4 oz. And the child is to be named Tripp Easton Mitchell Johnston. His father, Levi Johnston is an apprentice electrician and former Wasilla High School hockey player.
“We think it’s wonderful,” said Colleen Jones, the sister of Bristol’s grandmother Sally Heath, who confirmed the news. “The baby is fine and Bristol is doing well. Everyone is excited.”
Bristol and Levi have been dating for three years and plan to marry in 2009 to raise the boy within a family environment. Bristol caught the public’s eye last summer when her pregnancy hit the newspaper headlines.
This was after John McCain had picked her mom to be his aide in the up-coming presidential elections. Sarah and Todd Palin released this statement of support at the time: “Bristol “has our unconditional love and support.”
Photo rights of the ‘happy family’ have been won at auction by People, with an estimated price of $300,000, which has risen somewhat since Levi’s mom was arrested on a recent drugs charge, allegedly, accused of selling OxyContin tablets.
Bill McAllister, a spokesman for Governor Palin said, “This office will not be issuing any statements on Bristol’s baby. We’re here to talk about state government and that matter falls outside of that.”
A Sarah Palin spokesman in Alaska, said the grandma governor was busy with state business and would be making no public comment on her grandchild’s arrival, at this time. -
I for one am glad that Sarah Palin will be there for her family. They need her more than our country does right now, in more ways than one.
Let’s hope she’ll make a better grandma than she ever did a vice-presedential candidate! Grandma Palin… has quite a ring about it actually.

I’d completely forgotten about the fact that Sarah Palin’s daughter was pregnant actually, it’s fun to know that the papers can now call her Granny Palin though, and I now look forward to reading more about Levi’s mum being arrested as well!
